Summary of the contracting process

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) is currently seeking tenders for the provision of an Ion Chromatography-Data System (IC-DS) for installation at their laboratory located at Eurocentral, Stirling, UK. This procurement process, which is categorised under the goods industry, is at the tender stage, with submission deadlines set for 5 November 2020. The tender is being conducted through an open procedure, allowing for a wide range of suppliers to submit their bids electronically via the designated platform. Relevant documents and additional information can be found on the Public Contracts Scotland website.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the environmental and laboratory equipment sector, particularly those specialising in chromatography and analytical instrumentation. Suppliers offering advanced Ion Chromatography systems that can analyse both anions and cations in various sample types would be particularly suited to compete. With SEPA emphasising the need for a dual system capable of handling complex sample matrices, businesses skilled in innovative laboratory solutions should consider participating to enhance their market presence and foster growth in this domain.
