Marine Scotland invite bids for the purchaase of a replacement Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES). Water quality analysis is required to assess relationships between freshwater fish productivity and hydrochemistry. These analyses are thus core to the development of improved salmon assessment methods and adequately assessing the evidence base for management interventions. A replacement ICP-OES is being sought as the current instrumentation is nearing the end of life and new technology would reduce running costs.
