Notice Information
Notice Title
Framework for the provision of statistical advice and analysis
Notice Description
It is important that NatureScot is able to underpin its science with good statistical rigour. This ensures that we are getting the most out of the data and our resources and that we can have confidence in the conclusions that we are drawing. We wish to enhance the statistical service currently provided by increasing the capacity on an ad hoc basis, as required, and to increase the range of skills covered. This will be done by setting up a framework agreement for the provision of statistical advice and support.
Lot Information
Lot 1
It is anticipated that much of the service will revolve around the design and analysis of survey or monitoring data, but there may be other service requests such as delivering bespoke training courses. The framework is expected to operate for a maximum period of 36 months and will likely include two or three suppliers (exact number will depend on the volume and quality of bids received). There is no guarantee of any volume or value of work being offered under the framework.. Please note that the anticipated value of spend under this framework will be under the 'regulated procurement' threshold of GBP50,000. This Prior Information Notice is being published to reach a wider potential field of interested parties. If formally invited to tender, suppliers will be invited directly - a formal Contract Notice will not be published (so please ignore the date at Section II.3).
