The University of Strathclyde wishes to procure an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (XRF). The equipment will be used for analytical non-destructive techniques that can be used to determine the chemical composition of a wide variety of solid and liquid samples. The equipment is able to provide rapid data without laborious sample and standards preparation and it is widely applicable across many diverse industries. This instrument will be basically used for research and, depending on the availability, services to third parties.

Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of supplies or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations.
