Notice Description
The Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004 (as amended) provides the legal framework for the provision of additional support for learning. The 2004 Act also places a legal duty on the Scottish Ministers to provide an advocacy service on request and free of charge to parents and young people who make a reference to the Additional Support Needs Tribunal against an education authority's decisions regarding the provision of educational support
