Notice Title

DHI Demonstration & Simulation Environment (RM1557.11 call off)

Notice Description

Provision of a demonstration and simulation environment for the Digital Health and Care Institute. Call off via RM1557.11.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The Demonstration & Simulation Environment (DSE) is made up of two parts. The first is a virtual environment where people come together to create and connect digital services, using simulated data to test integrations and usability (hereafter known as a 'Simulation'). The second is a physical environment that then demonstrates these technologies, alongside co-design and market analysis outputs, to engage and empower people to use digital capabilities to transform health and care services. To support this, DHI: Understands common functions required across many services and select and develop a menu of commercially available systems to satisfy needs. Uses open platform principles, well recognised standards and Open APIs to integrate systems. Co-designs lightweight digitally enabled service models and then build these on top of common infrastructure. Demonstrates the products, systems and services and share learning. Uses demonstrations to build consortia to seek funding to operationalise the services. Utilises approach based on FHIR and OpenEHR standards and methods. This open infrastructure will allow DHI to support health and care organisations to redesign their self and co-management care activities. The University has followed the call off process contained within G Cloud 11 (RM1557.11)in the award of this contract.. Please note that this is a transparency contract award notice in relation to this Call Off Contract and that the Crown Commercial Services G-Cloud 11 buying process has been followed in order to identify shortlisted and subsequently the successful supplier.

Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of suppliers or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations. The Contracting Authority may at it's sole discretion exercise this option.
