Notice Description

North Ayrshire Council require contractors for the Energy Efficiency Programme: Area Based Scheme (EEP:ABS) to install external wall insulation (EWI) to approx. 160 properties in communities across North Ayrshire.

Lot Information

Lot 1- Irvine area works

The contractor will be expected to support residents through their customer journey. By proving a dedicated tenant liaison officer who will also work with residents and the manging agent to ensure residents are fully supported. Works to fully comply with the PAS 2030:2019, or any successor PAS and the Scottish Government's current guidance on EES:ABS 2020/21 (see Appendix 2). The contractor must comply with subsequent updates provided by the Scottish Government. Generally, supply and fit of a proprietary external wall insulation system achieving a u-value of 0.25W/M2K to non-traditional properties within defined areas of the LA. Additionally providing loft insulation up to 300mm and adequate roof ventilation (ie roof vents) where appropriate. Other complementary measures may be approved by the Council on a case by case basis. The Contractor will be expected to assist the Managing Agent with marketing of the ABS scheme ie presence at community events and assistance with case studies. Marketing requirements stated above are not exhaustive.

Renewal: option to extend by up to 24 months until 31st May 2023. Extensions will be at the sole discretion of NAC and subject to satisfactory performance and funding.
