C001876 A new educational approach to prepare nurses to work in Senior/Specialist practitioner roles in adult integrated community nursing teams in Scotland
Notice Description
Once the tender is awarded, the successful supplier/s shall: - Deliver a work based, part time programme at SCQF level 11 that provides knowledge and skills for senior/specialist practitioner practice at Level 6 in each area of the adult community nursing integrated team, i.e. district nursing, care home nursing, prison health and general practice nursing and leads to the award of Postgraduate Certificate. - Develop and design the education programme in collaboration with NES, other successful suppliers and NHS Boards to ensure a national consistent approach with appropriate local variation
Lot Information
Lot 1 North
Estimated intake for first year: 15 - 20 Health Board Areas: Grampian, Highland, Shetland, Orkney and Western Isles. NES shall commit to the minimum number of 15 students to this Lot.
Renewal: NES reserves the right to extend this contract by a further 4 cohorts/years.
Lot 2 South East and CentralEstimated intake for first year: 25-65 Health Board Areas: Lothian, Borders, Tayside, Fife and Forth Valley. NES shall commit to the minimum number of 25 students to this Lot.
Renewal: NES reserves the right to extend this contract by a further 4 cohorts/years.
Lot 3 WestEstimated intake for first year: 25-65 Health Board Areas: Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Arran, Dumfries and Galloway. NES shall commit to the minimum number of 25 students to this Lot.
Renewal: NES reserves the right to extend this contract by a further 4 cohorts/years.
