    "description": "This PIN (Prior Information Notice) will set out the intentions of the proposed procurement. *Please be aware that the final basket of goods/equipment within the ITT (Invitation To Tender) may vary to those outlined within this PIN.* **The outline requirement is still in review however we have provided the following information to help bidders review and consider if they would be in a position to submit a bid at ITT stage.** Current Outline Requirement The supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of refrigeration equipment (+2degC to +8degC temp range) and vaccine porter/carrier systems. Equipment/products must conform to the requirements of appropriate and relevant legislation, guidelines and regulations e.g. (but not limited to) -Quality Management System (BSI ISO9001 accreditation or equivalence) -Environmental Management System (BSI ISO14001 accreditation or equivalence) -Safety Requirements for Electrical Equipment (BSEN61010 or equivalence) - where applicable to products submitted -Ethical Trading Standards (ETI or equivalence) -COSHH - Control of Substances Hazardous to Health 1989 -Confirmation that equipment is CFC, HFC and HCFC free - where applicable to products submitted -Confirmation on compliance to the Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2006 - where applicable to products submitted -CE Marking -Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC -DH Green Book and Health Protection Scotland Document Bids to support all products within each Lot (note suppliers may bid for individual or both Lots). Equipment/products to be supplied on a fully delivered cost model. *Request for Documentation/information* To support this procurement process we request that bidders provide NP (National Procurement) with a copy of their Pandemic Exit Strategy, this can be provided in word or PDF format. Attachment 2: 2021-04-07 Equipment Information - Vaccine Porter Requirement for Vaccine Porter/Carrier system - there is no limit on number of units listed for our review and consideration, both chilled & frozen options may be put forward with supporting temperature validation information.
