Notice Description
Scotland's Railway have a target to decarbonise domestic passenger rail services by 2035. As part of this, ScotRail has a vision to operate the UK's most sustainable low-carbon railway. Falkirk High Station has been identified as a location to develop Scotland's first Net Zero Carbon Station. The station is on the Edinburgh to Glasgow route and is serviced by our flagship 385 fleet. We anticipate a number of solutions to help us reduce the energy demand at the station One of these initaitives is the supply and installation of a solar PV car port at the station. It is anticoated that the required output from the installation will be in the region of 8.4 kw
