Notice Description

Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government. The Chief Executive is also The Accountant in Bankruptcy (The Accountant) who is appointed to exercise all of the functions of The Accountant as specified under The Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016 (as amended). This Prior Information Notice (PIN) with Request For Information (RFI) relates to AiB's requirement for the provision of Insolvency services. This framework will be intended to cover the administration of allocated sequestration cases where The Accountant is appointed Trustee. These services will be required across the whole of Scotland. AiB intend to award a multi Contractor framework for the provision of Insolvency services. The scope of the framework will be intended to cover the administration of allocated sequestration cases where The Accountant is appointed Trustee. These services will be required across the whole of Scotland. Please see the attached RFI for further information. A detailed specification and selection/award criteria will be included in any future Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation.. This PIN and RFI is intended to help inform the procurement strategy and route to market. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic it is also intended to establish the available capacity/capability in the market to tender at this point in time.
