Dear Contractor, You are invited to tender for peatland restoration works as outlined in the statement of requirements document. The works are on an upland peatland bog owned by the National Trust for Scotland on the Isle of Arran. They form part of our continued progress at restoring our peatlands to help habitat restoration and for our commitment to reduce climate change. The site is fairly complex and it is recommended that prospective contractors attend a site visit on Fri July 16th at 11am. I will be able to pick up foot passengers from the 9:45am ferry (leaving Ardrossan) at Brodick Ferry terminal at 10:35am. It would be expected that the site visit will take no more than 3 - 4 hours. Please let me know if you would like to attend the site visit. Final tender submissions are required by 5pm on Mon 26th July 2021. I am back in the office on Monday 12th July when I will be able to answer any enquiries you may have and confirm arrangements for the site visit.
