The licences were refreshed to ensure that the council are fully compliant with the current volume licencing arrangements which allow us to deploy, manage and use MS SQL server for the provision of databases to support line of business applications. Scottish Procurement's Software Value Added Re-seller Framework was identified as a compliant route to market and is a single supplier framework. The Direct Award was undertaken in compliance with the call off procedures detailed within the buyer guide for the Framework and in line with its Terms and Conditions.. Award Criteria weightings were not applied as a direct award was made via single supplier framework.
