Sustainable Procurement Duty As Contracting Authority the Council has a duty to comply with the general duties of section 8 of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014, including the sustainable procurement duty. The Council considered the matters set out in section 9 of the Act and concluded that it could do nothing in the conduct of the procurement to advance any of the matters specified therein.. Suppliers are asked to submit their own Terms and Conditions to be considered by the Council.
