Notice Description
The post holder will provide technical advice on the Measures to be included in the new Energy Efficient Scotland national scheme.This will include;- horizon scanning to identify measures that may be suitable for inclusion in the scheme- advising the procurement lead on potential measures and providing balanced guidance on their potential appropriateness and efficacy as part of the Warmer Home Scotland offer.- providing detailed technical specifications of the measures to be included in the contract specification- working closely with the procurement lead to develop the technical aspects of the contract specification and- evaluation of the technical aspects of bidsEssential Skills and CompetenciesA qualified surveyor or M&E engineerA good understanding of existing and emerging domestic renewable technologies and low carbon solutionsExperience of working in the energy sectorKnowledge of the requirements of heating and insulation installationsDesirableA good understanding of PAS2030 and PAS2035A qualified Retrofit AssessorKnowledge of MCS requirementsKnowledge of the energy supplier requirements from the Energy Companies ObligationCompetence with MS Office (Word andExcel)
