Notice Description
Aberdeenshire Council and The Highland Council have appointed a contractor for the collection, storage and redelivery of household belongings. Aberdeen City Council did not secure a suitable contractor for this contract and therefore there was no award made.
Lot Information
Lot 1 - Aberdeen City Council
Aberdeen City Council is legally obliged to provide assistance with the removal, transfer and storage of household belongings for people experiencing homelessness. There are a significant number of customers who require this service, sometimes for an unspecified amount of time. Under this framework agreement the Contractor shall provide short and long-term storage solutions. Aberdeen City Council require a single Contractor to uplift belongings within a property; all furniture items, white goods, fixture/fittings and any other household item (this list is not exhaustive) and deliver to/from properties, with capacity to conduct requests where specified within 48 hours of request.. This requirement is being tendered along with the same requirements for Aberdeenshire and the Highland Council. Suppliers are able to tender for all 3 if they have the resource to do so.
