Notice Description

Marine Scotland wishes to renew the ICAF Anodes including checking the ICAF/ ICCP control system on-board the vessel MPV Minna to be carried out in dry-dock, at a yard which has still to be decided.The ICAF system is an Impressed Current Anti Fouling system this is to stop marine growth within the pipework of the vessel and also to protect it. These have to be replaced at the dry-dock due to wastage of the materials providing the protection.The vessel has 2 copper anodes on port and starboard side sea chest at the stern side and one copper anode for the emergency fire pump sea chest under the Bow of the ship.Marine also wishes to purchase ICCP anodes provided for use on MRV Hirta.
