Notice Description
Resources required to support the National Vaccination programme. Given the associated tight timescales to deliver the solution, and the complexity of scheduling, and the need to offer this as a service to all citizens within Scotland, it has been necessary to have the supplier expertise in the development and consultancy of the solution.

This is a directly awarded contract between the Authority on behalf of NHS Scotland to meet the additional demands of the Scottish Health and Social Care sector during the current Covid-19 pandemic. This award has been approved for reasons of extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable by the contracting authority in line with Regulation 33(1)(b) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015
Procurement Information
DXC are a ServiceNow global strategic partner and have worked with NSS to support the implementation of ServiceNow, as well subsequently developing the Care Home portal as part of the response to Covid-19 and therefore have strong knowledge of the NSS ServiceNow platform. They have the resource available immediately to be able to meet the tight timescales for this critical piece of demand.
