Award of Face Covering Exemption Card Scheme
Notice Description
In response to reports of incidents of people being denied access to shops, essential services and products when not wearing a face covering, the Scottish Ministers agreed to the development and provision of a face covering exemption card scheme, both a physical and a digital exemption card.The scheme was launched in October 2020 and the exemption cards, either physical or digital, are provided by applying to a free helpline, completing an online contact form or downloading online.
