    "description": "The Scottish Legal Complaints Commission (SLCC) wishes to appoint up to 3 legal firms to operate under a Framework Agreement. We are seeking the provision of cost effective, responsive, and high-quality legal services, which will help support proportionate and efficient dispensing of our statutory functions. Appointments will be for a 4 year period from October 2022. It is anticipated that the SLCC's legal spend will be 160,000 GBP per annum over the course of the 4 year period, although this will be subject to a number of variables. There is no guarantee that this value of spend will apply to this Framework Agreement. Firms will be able to demonstrate litigation experience in the Court of Session (which is the majority of work under the framework), as well as capability across public law and judicial review, and various other areas of law supporting the work of the SLCC. Firms should also be able to confidently advise on the legislative framework for the SLCC and legal regulation in Scotland. An online Prior Information Event is being held on Wednesday 26 January (15:30 to 17:00) which will provide more details about the SLCC and its legal needs, and give an opportunity for questions.
