                    "rationale": "Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: The contract for Exhibition Design , Build , Digital Interpretation plus ongoing support of a semi permanent exhibition is to be extended by a further 18 months in accordance with Regulation 72(1)(c)(i) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Prices have been adjusted to take account of the additional design and build services required to complete the project following a 12 month period where contractor staff were not allowed access to site due to COVID 19 restrictions. Contract delivery key dates have been adjusted by 18 months and assumes snagging and minor additional services will be completed between December 2021 and March 2022 and successful handover by 5 March 2022 , when the support contract commences."
