Lot 1

The contract is for the cyclical repainting works to common closes, windows, doors, gutters, downpipes, fascias and the like to properties owned or managed by Govanhill Housing Association. The framework will initially run for a period of 3 years with the option for renewal, at the sole discretion of Govanhill Housing Association, for an extension of two further periods of one year each, subject to satisfactory reviews based upon performance and quality of service and delivery. The maximum duration of the framework is therefore 5 years. The Association intend to appoint one contractor to undertake the year 1 repainting works and subject to satisfactory performance they reserve the right to appoint them to undertake the works for subsequent years. The Association also reserve the right to appoint the second or subsequent contractors on the framework or to hold mini competitions between the framework contractors for future works.

Renewal: The Association may, entirely at its own discretion, extend the framework by two further periods each of 12 months
