The procurement process pertains to the acquisition of "Wound Closure Products" by National Service Scotland - National Procurement, based in Edinburgh, UK. This procurement falls under the goods category, specifically aimed at providing essential products to NHS Scotland across various locations. Currently in the contract modification stage, the process involves a modification to an existing contract to ensure continued supply during the demands of the Covid-19 pandemic.
