Notice Description

Fife Council has an obligation to ensure that children and young people in Fife experience safe and nurturing care through their childhoods, reach their potential and develop into self-sufficient adults. It is a statutory requirement to engage regularly with children and young people in care and there are established methods for doing this e.g. decision making meetings.To enhance communication with care experienced young people and children, Fife Council is looking to procure a system to facilitate improved communication and engagement. This will be based around easy to use, intuitive apps that will allow young people and children to share their views and concerns at a time that suits them. The benefits of such are tool are earlier identification of problems, understanding trends, empowering young people to have their say in their education and care and ultimately helping towards reducing placement disruptions and breakdowns and the associated costs of moving care arrangements.1. Mind of My Own all in one appsCloud hosted solution with apps that are accessible to all young people (including those with additonal needs) on any device. The apps can be used to securely facilitate communication between Social Workers and the young people/children.2. Training packageTraining is required for:180 Social Workers, 'train the trainer' arrangement for training will be considered.Foster carers (unlimited).
