Notice Description

Clyde Gateway Developments Limited is seeking to procure a suitably experienced company or companies to deliver the design, build, operation, management and maintenance of a low temperature ambient loop district heating scheme in the Dalmarnock and the Shawfield areas of Glasgow. This opportunity has been split into three works packages as follows:- Works Package 1 : Design & Build of the ambient loop district heating system including decentralised heat pumps. Optional Works Package 2 : Design & Build of a solar energy scheme to provide additional renewable energy generation capacity to support the operation of the ambient loop district heating system. Optional Works Package 3 : Operation, management & maintenance, metering and billing of the ambient loop district heating system and solar energy scheme. The project is a collaboration with Scottish Water Horizons who are supporting the project by investing in the expansion of their Energy Centre within their existing Dalmarnock Waste Water Treatment Works (WWTW). The Energy Centre will recover waste heat from the effluent treatment process within the WWTW and deliver it to the planned low temperature ambient loop district heating network which in turn will feed existing and proposed commercial buildings in the Shawfield development area. Tenderers are invited to tender for all of the Works and Tenderers must make submissions for all of the Works Packages. The Buyer reserves the right to award Optional Works Package 2 and/or Optional Works Package 3 in its sole discretion to the successful Tenderer.

Options: As set out above Optional Works Packages 1 and 2 will be awarded to the successful Tenderer at the Buyer's sole discretion. There is also an option at the Buyer's sole discretion to extend the Operation Maintenance Metering and Billing contract for Works Package 3 for a further 2 year term as set out in the ITT.
