The Scottish Mentoring and Leadership Programme (SMLP) aims to support and improve the outcomes of up to 15,000 care experienced (or in 'tough realities') young people. The Scottish Government wish to commission research to evaluate the process, impact and value for money of the SMLP approach and to offer ongoing learning as the work evolves that will inform our thinking and strategic direction.
