"description": "The contract opportunity that is being advertised under this contract notice relates to the award of a services concession contract. The value of the services concession falls below the threshold for application of the Concession Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2016, and, therefore, the contract is not subject to the Concession Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2016 (or any other legislation regulating public procurement in Scotland). 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited intends to follow the tender process set out in the procurement documents in connection with this contract opportunity. However, 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited reserves the right to follow such process as it considers appropriate in connection with the award of any contract pursuant to this opportunity. 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited also reserves the right to amend the process set out in the procurement documents at any time. Tenderers should be aware that any Contract that is awarded pursuant to this procurement will be entered into by 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited for its own benefit and for the benefit of: (i) Visit Scotland; (ii) the Scottish Ministers, Glasgow City Council, UK Sport and any other public sector bodies that are involved in the planning, organisation and/or staging of the 2023 Cycling World Championships at any time or from time to time; and (iii) British Cycling and the Union Cycliste Internationale.
