Home Fix Scotland are seeking to appoint three highly competent and experienced contractors to become a party to a 'Multi-Trade Void Property Works' framework. The purpose of this framework is to assist Home Fix Scotland in ensuring Void Properties are brought up to lettable standard for our parent company River Clyde Homes. River Clyde Homes is a 'not for profit' affordable housing provider that owns and manages over 5,800 homes and provides factoring services to a further 2,200 homes in the Inverclyde area. The successful contractors require to deliver all trades that may be required to bring properties up to the required standard. These include, but are not limited to, joinery, plumbing, electrical, plastering, painting, brickwork and roofing works. The full range of trades required are detailed within the Schedule of Rates. The basis of payment for the works will be a % adjustment against the NHF Schedule of Rates Version 7.2 (attached as Appendix F). An example of the average works required to be provided within a routine void is provided for information at Appendix G. Details of how the framework will function are provided at Section 8. It is envisaged that on average 10 voids a month will require to be refurbished by the contractors on the framework, however, this may rise to as many as 40 in periods of peak demand.

Renewal: The contract will run for an initial 2-year duration. HFS may wish to extend any resultant agreement for up to a further two, 12-month periods, subject to the agreement of the successful bidder.
