Lot 1
IT identified the need to procure 3x additional servers to support the move to a resilient datacentre model and infrastructure. The servers needed to be compatible with existing hardware to ensure consistency and have therefore been scoped by IT in association with original equipment manufacturer, Dell. The most suitable route to market was a mini-competition against Crown Commercial Services Framework RM6068 Technology Products and Associated Services - Lot 2 Hardware and Associated Services.
Options: One-off purchase but allowance of for warranty period is 3 years (36 months).
