Southside Housing Association is proposing a Storage Heater, PV and Battery Project to serve up to 420 homes mostly owned by Southside Housing Association in blocks of flats at a number of sites in Glasgow.

The project is planned to include replacement of old electric storage heaters with modern electric storage heaters plus battery storage in individual flats, together with centralised solar PV (on some roofs and over some car parking areas) plus centralised battery storage to help meet landlord's electricity supply requirements.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
