Notice Description

This post will be responsible for the very important work regarding vendor and other supplier management and the effective management of risk and assurances across the Shared Services Programme.Main DutiesVendor Management- Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with selected vendors, ensuring effective multi-supplier team working- Promote a partnership ethos will encourage collaborative and not competitive / adversarial behaviours- Utilize risk management practices to mitigate contractual risk- Ensure that vendors are either meeting or exceeding their contractual obligations by delivering quality solutions/services on time.- Report on - Performance Metrics, Scorecards, Annual Reviews and/or Customer Satisfaction Surveys, financial management, deliverables acceptance, conflicts of interest,- Work with vendors and key stakeholders to establish clear contract change control processes.- Conduct periodic vendor reviews/evaluations/audits that consider various performance levels as well as the provider relationship.- Manage as the internal escalation focal point, any internal contract-related complaints or disagreements from Leadership or other internal stakeholdersRisk Management:- Maintain overall risk management process for the programme covering programme risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, as well as 1/4ly programme healthcheck assessments- Ensure Path to Green actions are being tracked, reported and actioned- Report risk in an appropriate way for different audiences and stakeholders, e.g. programme board, workstream boards so that they are aware of risks relevant to their parts of the programme and to individual projects so that they understand their accountability for individual risks and are driving actions to mitigate- Ensure appropriate contingency and business continuity plans are in place to limit risks and prepare for if things go wrong- Support SG integrated audit and assurance activity, including liaison with internal and external auditors where appropriate and/or necessary.- Provide support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organisation.For both elements of the role, work with local and central PMO to ensure all data and reporting requirements are met to effective management and oversight of all programmes of work.
