Notice Description

The Digital Planning team is based in the Planning, Architecture Division and Regeneration (PARD) and consists of 25+ staff spread across five smaller teams. The team is responsible for leading a 5 year, PS35 million programme to transform the Scottish planning system aimed at delivering new services and ways of working. Our vision is for Scotland to have a world leading digital planning system that helps connect people with their places.The Product Owner (Smart Applications) will lead the discovery and alpha phase of our Smart Applications project. This will involve working with a multi-disciplinary team (third party supplier, contractor and permanent SG staff) to explore opportunities to transform planning and building warrant applications. Smart Applications will make better use of data to improve the way applications are made and assessed.
