This is a new requirement for a Framework Agreement with an array of suitably experienced and qualified contractors for the refurbishment of existing occupied sheltered housing units (SHUs) throughout North Ayrshire. There are a total of 8 SHUs to be refurbished (Framework Agreement shall incorporate 1st 'call-off') and the following requirements will be tendered via Mini-Competitions from the framework. A maximum of 6 contractors will be awarded a place on the framework. Places will be awarded to suppliers with the most economically advantageous responses. However, if a situation arises where bidders have the same final score, more than the maximum contractors stated may be admitted to the framework. The framework will operate for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 12-month period.
