Active Travel App Development
Notice Description
The main aim of this procurement is to produce two digital apps, one for Tobermory and North Mull and the other for Islay. These require to complement the existing visitor information, leaflets, trails and historical leaflets for these areas. By focusing on the history, rich heritage and active travel opportunities each of the apps will be used to promote the area as part of the tourism offer and a heritage destination. This will support Argyll and Bute Council's overall objective of attracting more people and jobs to the area. The narrative content for the two apps will be provided by the client; however advice on the best way to display the content will be required. The apps will support and encourage the use of sustainable and active travel in Tobermory and Islay.
