The outcome of this project is to deliver an evidence-informed assessment of the impact of Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) roles in acute surgical services in NHS Scotland. The contractor will be expected to engage with differing organisations and mixed discipline teams in the context of acute surgical care to source information regarding scope of the role. The aim is to understand the impact of such roles on the surgical team, the practitioners and patients. This is to be considered in the context of high quality and efficient service delivery.

Renewal: NEs reserves the right to extend this contract by a further 12 months.
