The Scottish Government Legal Directorate (SGLD) has a requirement to place a framework contract with an external service provider(s) for Temporary Legal Staff Services in order to fill temporary gaps in staffing and/or in response to unforeseen business requirements.

The Scottish Government Legal Directorate (SGLD) has a requirement to place a framework contract with an external service provider(s) for Temporary Legal Staff Services in order to fill temporary gaps in staffing and/or in response to unforeseen business requirements. The contracting authority/authorities for this Framework is/are: - Scottish Ministers - Office of the Advocate General - Scottish Law Commission The requirements can include the need for solicitors experienced in litigation and drafting and of working within large organisations, also other roles within the legal sector maybe required such as Paralegals. The successful service provider(s) will have a proven track record of providing suitably qualified solicitors to in-house legal teams and all of whom will be expected to be qualified in Scots Law and be a member of the Law Society of Scotland. Temporary staff must be available at short notice and should be pre-interviewed by the service provider to ensure their candidates meet the minimum criteria for any post that requires to be filled.
