Notice Description
Fife Council's Education and Children's Services are currently inviting notes of interest from suitability qualified individuals to work in partnership with Fife Council as an Independent Chairperson for several Committees including Adult Protection Committee (APC), Child Protection Committee (CPC), Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and (Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA).

Fife Council's Education and Children's Services are currently inviting notes of interest from suitability qualified individuals to work in partnership with Fife Council as an Independent Chairperson for several Committees including Adult Protection Committee (APC), Child Protection Committee (CPC), Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and (Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA). The requirement is for a maximum of 8 days per month over the Contract period, paid at a daily rate of GBP 350.00. The individual should have subject matter and technical expertise, with a working knowledge of local and national policy drivers around Public Protection including guidance and project implementation. A strong value-based leadership approach with an effective role in strategic and partnership working is also required. An understanding of the future National Care Service would also be beneficial.. This position will be required for a period of between 12 and 24 months.
