Social Research and Analysis Framework (2023-2027)
Notice Description
The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a framework with external service providers for the provision of a Social Research and Analysis Framework (2023-2027). Work has commenced in developing the procurement strategy options including canvassing of stakeholders' views. In order to complete and finalise the strategy, SPPD recognises the value of suppliers having the opportunity to contribute to this process on a non-competitive, non-judgemental basis. This request for information is aimed at collating those views from market participants. This information may be utilised in developing the procurement strategy to help deliver contractual arrangements for the Social Research and Analysis requirements. SPPD is using Questback to collate responses, Suppliers and other interested parties should read and complete the following Request for Information Online Questionnaire using the link below: https://response.questback.com/scottishgovernment/ij5ruhmbqn The questionnaire will be available for all interested parties until 28 March 2023.

Consultation Analysis
Understanding policy background of consultation, receiving, securely storing and classifying consultation responses. Analysis of responses to consultation questions, setting out key issues and nature and level of support for consultation proposals in full report.
Social ResearchPrimary research (collecting data from people): quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods data collection/fieldwork online; by telephone; face to face. Representative surveys and focus groups. Questions in Omnibus surveys if offered by suppliers. In depth, observational interviews. Public engagement and public panels. Case studies, co-creation, ethnography, narrative analysis, focus groups, lived experience research, deliberative methods. Secondary research (analysis of pre-existing data) qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods data analysis and literature reviews, evidence reviews, systematic reviews, rapid evidence reviews. Data linkage.
EvaluationsProcess evaluations. Small-scale evaluations (project value limit 65,000 GBP) including evaluability and impact assessments, logic modelling and theory of change. Economic evaluations. Statutory monitoring work, performance monitoring and reviews of legislative requirements.
