Energy Saving Trust requires an experienced research agency ("the supplier") to evaluate its 2022-2023 advice services to supported businesses in accordance with Energy Saving Trust's procurement procedures. This opportunity will be an open procedure advertised on the Public Contracts Scotland portal.

Lot 1
Energy Saving Trust insight and evaluation team is carrying out the first evaluation of the Business Energy Scotland (BES) advice service, covering the delivery period 2022-23. Energy Saving Trust requires an experienced research agency ("the supplier") to carry out approximately 300 telephone interviews with supported businesses. Telephone interviews will cover motivations for taking up advice, actions taken and planned, the role of advice when taking action (attribution), the benefits of taking action, reasons for not taking action, the financing of improvements, customer feedback on the installation process and the BES service. The interview datasets produced by the supplier will be used by Energy Saving Trust insight and evaluation team during in-house analysis to produce quantified savings and to support reporting to the Scottish Government.
