Scottish Canals are looking to develop feasibility designs (RIBA stage 0/1) to technical design using the RIBA Plan of Work process (RIBA stages 1-4) for the lots below Lot 1: TFW Visitor Centre Master Planning Options Lot 2: TFW Campervan Lot 3: TFW WC (Toilet) Improvements Lot 4: TFW New Port Downie Customer Facilities Lot 5: TFW Staff Welfare Facilities Phase 2 Lot 6: TFW Entrance and Ticket Office Lot 7: TFW Visitor Experience & Staff Facilities Lot 8: Falkirk Boat Hire Accommodation Lot 9: TFW Potential Additional Projects

TFW Visitor Centre Master Planning Options
This initial piece of option design work will revisit and explore opportunities for the development of TFW visitor centre and associated land.
Options: There is an option to take some of the work packages beyond RIBA stage 4 however this would be decided by SC for each work package. Post RIBA Stage 4 Scottish Canals will retain the right to: -Require full rights to all materials produced and electronic copies of all files should be supplied for our records. Tender RIBA stages 5-7 (Construction to Use) along -with construction works as a design and build contract Extend the existing design team contract to RIBA stage 7 (Use) with the view that the project will be run as traditional contract -Re tender for design team services for RIBA stages 5-7 (Construction to Use) with the view that the project will be run as a traditional contract. Therefore the total estimated value of construction of all lots to include this option is GPB 2,210,000
TFW CampervansScottish Canals are looking to develop feasibility designs (RIBA stage 0/1) to technical design (RIBA stage 4) for the the The Falkirk Wheel (TFW) Campervans.. This lost was removed from the ITT and will not be awarded to this contract
