The proposed peatland restoration site is a approx. 40 hectare fenced apportionment between Trolladale Water and Glussdale Water to the north of the Nibon junction in Northmavine, in North Mainland of Shetland. Grid ref HU3304273641 Of this 40 ha approx. 28 hectares will require restoration work . See Statment of Requirements for full details

The Trolladale site is a approx. 40 hectare fenced apportionment between Trolladale Water and Glussdale Water to the north of the Nibon junction in Northmavine, in North Mainland of Shetland. Grid ref HU3304273641 Of this 40 ha approx. 28 hectares will require restoration work Restoration needed (estimates)- 14850m gullies reprofile and block 2338m of old peat banks to reprofile and block 0.2ha micro erosion features Sphagnum moss transplanted to all pools created and rewetted bare peat For full details see SOR. This project would be suitable for new entrants to peatland restoration
