The works comprise of: - Concrete repairs to concrete decks, abutments and piers will carried out from working scaffolds and comprise breaking out of the defective concrete and replacing it with structural repair mortars. - Maintenance painting will comprise working from encapsulated working scaffold to remove the existing paint from the steel beams by grit blasting and then spraying on a new paint system. - Bridge joint replacement will involve cutting out the existing road surfacing to the required depth to allow removal and replacing with poured modified bitumen.
