The partnership vision is that by 2025 Dumfries & Galloway will have a collaborative, effective and easily understood employability and skills system focused on positive outcomes, which are person-centred and provide pathways to sustainable and fair work.

DG LEP oversees the distribution of funds from the Scottish and UK Governments and Dumfries and Galloway Council. The funding is used to assist individuals living in the region to progress along the employability pathway, with the ultimate goal of moving them into fair and sustainable work. A range of employability provision including key worker support, employability training, skills for work programmes, paid work placements and in-work progression are available to support clients progress toward work, training, education, or volunteering.
