Two Year Office Cleaning Contract

Notice Description

The Contract applies to cleaning services at Southside House, 135 Fifty Pitches Road, Glasgow, G51 4EB. Southside House is a modern three storey office building with offices, meeting rooms, public areas, staircases and lifts, kitchens and toilet facilities. The Contract term will be for an initial two year period with optional annual 1 year + 1 Year extensions up to a maximum contract duration of four years overall. The decision to award the contract extensions will be at the discretion of Southside Housing Association and will be on the basis of one year increments. Bidders are also advised that Southside Housing Association may reduce the volume of cleaning or frequencies of activity visits without recompense or loss to the Contractor for any areas of Southside House that are vacant without an incumbent tenant. This service will commence on 8th April 2024 and will be provided on a daily basis Monday-Friday, unless otherwise stated within the office cleaning schedule (refer Tender Document 5 'Cleaning Weekly Audit') and tender pricing document.

Single stage tendering and all bidders may submit a tender. Bidders are required to visit Southside House during the tender pricing period to fully acquaint themselves with Southside Housing Association's requirements, the local conditions, accessibility of the site, means of access, egress, the full extent and character of the operations, the supply and conditions affecting labour, materials and the execution of the contract generally. No extra will be allowed because of any omission or error arising from lack of such knowledge. An opportunity to visit Southside House will be made available to all bidders during the tender period at 10am GMT on Monday 4th March 2024 whereby bidders will be able to access all areas of Southside House to allow them to understand the requirements of the office cleaning service and working areas. The visit to Southside House will be attended by Southside Housing Association and A.D.A Construction Consultants. To record your interest in the Site Visit to Southside House, please email the names of your organisations delegates to alan.shanks@ada-cc.co.uk not later than 17.00 GMT on Friday 1st March 2024. Bidders are asked to keep the maximum number of persons that will attend the Event on behalf of their organisation to two representatives.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Renewal: May take up option of twelve month extensions up to a maximum of two further years (2026-2028) at an estimated value 36000 GBP (excluding VAT) per annum.
