It represents 125 public sector organisations throughout Scotland, ranging from small co-operatives to regional and national housing associations, local authorities, education providers, blue light services and other public bodies. SPA have a vast portfolio of compliant frameworks that have been developed through extensive research and collaboration with public sector organisations and suppliers. The frameworks enable fully or partially publicly funded organisations to procure goods, works and services. Providing a complete collection of solutions for organisations seeking to procure construction, refurbishment, maintenance or consultancy projects. "Unlock SPA Framework Opportunities: Learn How to Bid For Our Frameworks" This session will provide prospective bidders with the necessary knowledge of procurement practices, documentation, the scoring mechanism and other crucial elements of the application process. -Introduction to SPA -Upcoming frameworks -Public Sector Procurement Overview -Open vs restricted procurement routes -Overview of standard tender documents -Live run through of Intend - our E-tendering portal -Scoring mechanisms This sessions is open to all suppliers, but will be particularly useful for SME's who maybe do not have extensive experience in bidding for public sector frameworks. Shortly applications will open for bidders to tender for a range of framework opportunities. Five frameworks will each open to tender this year and we are seeking interest from suppliers that are capable of delivering a range of works and services for energy efficiency upgrades, roofing repairs and installations, door types for fire and security, supply of temporary and permanent modular buildings and construction firms to support the development and refurbishment of public buildings and infrastructure. There will also be a Q&A opportunity at the end. Session date and time: -Thursday 21st March 2024 9.30am - 12.30pm. FULL DETAILS IN ATTACHMENT
