This Contract Award Notice relates to a contract to awarded to single supplier to supply, deliver and install a Spray Dryer for the Continuous Manufacturing and Crystallisation Centre (CMAC), University of Strathclyde. The University conducted an Open tender process to award the supplier this contract.
Lot Information
Lot 1
The Continuous Manufacturing and Crystallisation centre (CMAC) required a spray dryer to isolate dry powder from either solution or slurry by evaporation of the liquid. The system was requried to be suitable for using with a standard chemicals laboratory and should be capable of working with flammable solvents. This is to add to CMAC's existing suite of lab instruments within the Technology Innovation Centre at the University of Strathclyde.. The total contract value is inclusive of the additional 24 months service & maintenance that was included within the tender documentation and taken up at point of award.
Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional services from the successful Tenderer, either intended extension of existing services/supply or in replacement of existing services/supply. The Contracting Authority may at its sole discretion exercise this option.
