PPE1001617 Direct Award for the Provision of HRS-750 Spectrometer and a Pylon IR CCD camera. An HRS-750 Spectrometer and a Pylon IR CCD camera from the same company are already operational in the lab. The instruments included in this purchase will complete the setup to form a cascade of two spectrometers. Such a combined system is a well-known approach in laser spectroscopy for achieving higher resolution and sensitivity. However, optimal performance is guaranteed only by having the same model of spectrometer and camera. By cascading two identical spectrometers, the new combined dual system will be compatible, pre-aligned, and provide the high-resolution solution expected.
