"description": "It is anticipated that all planters will be in place within 5 months of the contract award and the maintenance period will last for 2 years thereafter. The planters are expected to be in place for around 5 years - 10 years. Planters should be around 1500mm in width and 750mm in height. Trees should be mainly light standards with a range of suitable tree forms e.g. multi stemmed birch. Tree form will be suitable to the particular location. The soil medium should be proprietary and to industry standards and to suitable to the tree type. Delivery of the complete planters would mainly be between the hours of midnight and 6am Monday to Thursday There may be an occasional requirement to move some of the planters from their selected locations to new city center locations. To successfully maintain and monitor the planters, a 2-year maintenance service is required with each planter inspected on a regular seasonal approach. April to September we would expect 2 visits per month, with the option of visits to be increased in response to weather conditions. October to March we would expect 1 visit per month to undertake any winter requirement e.g pruning and address additional ground cover planting in containers. Should we experience hot dry weather, we would expect each planter to be watered with a sufficient volume of water with two site visits per week.
