Provision of accounting and finance services to Knowes Housing Association Ltd

Knowes Housing Association Ltd is looking to tender for accounting and finance services for its business of providing social housing. These include Financial Management and , Business Planning and control and general financial administration for the organisation. Knowes Housing Association Ltd (KHA) is a registered social housing provider, a registered charity and registered property factor. The organisation was established on 1st March 1998 following a transfer of stock from the former Scottish Homes. Our office is situated at 10 Field Road, Faifley, Clydebank, G81 5BX and we have properties in Faifley, Duntocher and the Clydebank area in the West Dunbartonshire region. We own and manage 1055 properties for social housing rent, own 1 six bed short stay respite unit which we lease to West Dunbartonshire Council, 43 garage lockups rented to tenants and owner occupiers in the area, provide factoring services to 571 owner occupiers with 191 owners in common tenement properties Knowes also supports a variety of community projects and local area activities. We are also involved in a small development of around 27 properties which is currently at pre-construction phase. The Association wishes to enter into a Measure Term Contract Agreement (MTCA) with a single supplier who are suitably qualified and experienced in the provision of Finance Services for the Service Areas detailed in Appendix 1 of the Invitation to Tender Document. The MTCA for Finance Services will be for a 2-year period with the option to extend for three x single 1-year periods solely at the Association discretion. We would expect to require on average six days per month (500 hours per annum) service from the successful company. This figure is intended as a guide only and the number of hours/days will vary from month to month depending on the requirements of the organisation. For example, more days will be required from the financial year end 31st March up and until the external audit which normally takes place the first week in June

Renewal: Renewable on annual basis after the initial 24 months for up to a total of 60 months.
