Notice Description
The City of Edinburgh Council (the "Council") awarded a Concession contract for the summer events held at The Meadows and Inverleith Park. The Council appointed an events management Contractor(s) to provide a range of leisure events that have a focus on culture, food, drink and live performing arts. The Contractor(s) shall pay a fixed fee rental to the Council and each site shall be subject to a reinstatement bond. It is expected that the new Concession contract shall operate from August 2025 for a period of three years with the option (at the Council's discretion) to extend for a further two periods of one year each.

The Meadows
A ticketed venue for either a cultural, theatre or live performing arts event or events on the Meadows for up to 23 days in August (23 performance days excludes build / strike). Please refer to Lot 1 Specification for details in full.. This is a Contract Award Notice for Lot 1 The Meadows.
Renewal: It is the intention of the Council that any Contract resulting from this ITT will commence January 2025 for a period of three years with two optional 12-month extensions (3 + 1 + 1), undertaken at the sole discretion of the Council.
